Took a wonderful trip to the coast of Brittany and stayed in the beautiful town of Cancale. John Singer Sargent visited here and painted his masterpiece "The Oyster Gatherers." The people were incredibly nice, warm and friendly, and everywhere I turned there were too many sights to capture.
  But I wandered the old streets and sketched as often as I could. I would take the car and head into the towns of St. Malo and Dinan and revel in the old architecture, the winding streets and alleys, the stairs that climbed above the towns and the vistas overlooking the Baie du Mont Saint Michel.
