At
this year's San Diego ComicCon International (the largest
convention devoted to popular culture) George was awarded the
WILL EISNER AWARD for BEST PAINTER / MULTIMEDIA ARTIST
for his work on Wolverine: Nestuke.

George Pratt has accepted a one-year teaching position at Virginia Commonwealth University starting Fall 2003.

Netsuke nominated for Best Painter/Multimedia Artist
(interior art) in the 2003 Eisner Awards.

is currently at work on a 48-page one-shot for DC
Comics as part of their new SOLO
series. The issue will have several stories each handled in a unique
way technically. Some stories will be black and white, others painted,
etc.
